SECTION 00 11 13 JACKSONVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Jacksonville High School Accessibility Improvements COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS addressed to Troy Parker, Director of Purchasing, will be received by the Jacksonville Independent School District, at the Purchasing Office, located 800 College Ave, Jacksonville, TX 75766 or if being delivered by USPS P.O. Box 631, Jacksonville, Texas 75766 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5th, 2024, for the furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary for the Jacksonville High School Improvements, in accordance with the project plans and specifications. At the time stated, sealed proposals will be opened. Contract documents including bid proposal forms, plan sheets, and specifications for the Project will be available on or before November 5th, 2024, and may be viewed and downloaded free of charge at the following: https://www.civcastusa.com Printed copies are not available from the Engineer, but arrangements can be me made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for all prospective bidders will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 21st, 2024, at Jacksonville High School Project Site 1210 Corinth Road, Jacksonville, TX 75766 All bidding questions should be provided in writing with the project name in the title and subject via e-mail no later than 12:00 noon, Thursday, December 5th, 2024. Civil Engineer / Project Manager: Travis Pierce, P.E. travis@piercemurray.com Bidders must submit with their bids a Cashier?s Check or a Certified Check in the amount of 5% percent of the maximum amount of bid payable without recourse to the Owner or a bid bond in the same amount. If awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the Jacksonville Independent School District and furnish bonds on the forms provided. The successful bidder will be required to furnish not only a performance bond in the amount of the contract, but also a payment bond for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials. The work to be performed under this contract shall commence in early January 2025 and shall be substantially completed as stipulated in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages shall be payable to the owner for the sum of $500 for each calendar day of delay from the above stipulated time for completion.
